All Mixed Up

Quartets are put together in many different ways. All Mixed Up got its start shortly after BHS opened its membership to all. Donna Kready and Nylon Suffron were among the first women to join the Capital City Chorus. As experienced SAI members, Donna (Lead) and Nyla (Tenor) became section leaders. Director Jonathan Andrews relied on them, along with Associate Director Don Suffron (bass), to demonstrate the technique and teach parts to the chorus. It worked so well that they decided to sing as a quartet, and it grew from there! When Jonathan got a little too busy, Greg Hedges (baritone) was ready, willing, and able to join in.

Young At Heart

The "Young At Heart" quartet reminds audiences that singing with friends helps keep you young! The group was formed in 2005 with original members John Harold, tenor, and Norm Nellis, lead. Don Medlen, bass, joined in 2013, and Bryan Boutz, baritone in 2023.
